These breakfasts provide an opportunity for informal discussions of teaching and learning. This breakfast provides an opportunity for new, and not so new, faculty to get advice, network, and build social capital.

Faculty learning community (FLC)

Participants of this FLC meet to discuss experiences and interests in the context of developing habits of mind around the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). The FLC includes relevant readings drawn from the SoTL and ENED literature, and stimulating discussion.

Teaching and learning book club

Each semester EETI members explore books and text focused on teaching strategies and pedagogy.  For spring 2019, participants will read “How Learning Works” by Marie K. Norman, Marsha C. Lovett, Michael W. Bridges, Michele DiPietro, and Susan A. Ambrose.
