On Friday, April 9th, 2021, EETI members and affiliates participated in a research panel session of the Institute of Biological Engineering 2021 Annual Conference, which was hosted this year at the University of Georgia. The panel was dedicated to the topic “Educating Biological Engineering Students” and organized by Drs Maxine Jonas (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and Joachim Walther (EETI, University of Georgia). EETI affiliate Cheryl Gomillion (Assistant Professor at School of Chemical, Materials and Biomedical Engineering) and EETI member Dominik May (Assistant Professor at the Engineering Education Transformations Institute) showcased their research on undergraduate engineering education in the areas of student perceptions of learning module efficacy and cross reality learning spaces.
