EETI Undergraduate Researchers Featured as Lead Authors of National Conference Paper

EETI congratulates Hindolo Kamanda and Davis Wilson for being lead authors of a paper accepted for publication at the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) 2020 Annual Conference. The paper is part of the prestigious Educational Research and Methods Division and presents an extraordinary achievement, especially for researchers at the undergraduate level.

In the context of a larger, multi-institution NSF project that investigates professional socialization processes in engineering (#1752897) led by Dr. James Huff of Harding University  Hindolo and Davis are leading the analysis of a subset of the data focused on the social construction of expectations in engineering programs and ways in which students internalize and respond to those expectations. Over the course the past two years, both young researchers have advanced the analysis and collaborated with Dr. Jo Walther to present the findings in this national venue.
