We are excited to announce that EETI has won the 2020 Teaching Excellence Award for Department or Program from the University System of Georgia (USG)!  As a competitive award in the State of Georgia, each nominee competes with the top nominee from each of USG’s 26 higher education institutions.  The award “is designed to showcase an outstanding department or program that promotes, supports, and recognizes excellence in teaching and in service to students.”

 

Since its inception, EETI has strived to use a variety of faculty-, staff-, and student-oriented programming to increase engagement with engineering teaching and learning.  Our focus on educational capacity building has led to the development of a vibrant community around teaching and learning that cultivates and recognizes educational excellence.  Additionally, our award nomination portfolio details the facets of EETI’s research approach, and is publicly available for anyone interested to learning more about our programming.
