Ph.D. Student, Engineering Education

Major Professor: Nathaniel Hunsu, Ph.D.

Research Interests: Student retention and attrition

Paul Olanrewaju is a graduate student in EETI’s Ph.D. program.  His research focuses on understanding the complex problem of student retention and attrition in engineering, using the college of engineering as a case model for my study. The cost of attrition is high for the University of Georgia and its engineering students. Using Tinto’s model, he intends to explore causes and potential facilities for reducing student attrition in engineering.
