Steve Pahno was a Dean’s Engineering Education Fellow at the University of Georgia for the 2021 to 2022 school year. He is a doctoral candidate in engineering with interests in geotechnical and pavement engineering.
Steve taught introductory programming to incoming freshmen using the MATLAB language and environment. He also worked for Dr. Kyle Johnsen on an innovative research project that tested the effectiveness of applying a virtual reality environment to teaching a college-level class. In addition, he studied engineering education under Dr. John Morelock.
