Trevor Richards
Dean's Engineering Education Fellow Alumnus
Trevor Richards was a Dean’s Engineering Education Fellow and is a doctoral student in environmental engineering at the University of Georgia. His research interests include engineering education best practices, cultural sensitivity with engineering, and the natural research costs associated with data creation and storage.
As a 2020-21 Dean’s Fellow, Trevor taught introductory programming using MATLAB, and worked with Drs. David Stooksbury and Tom Lawrence in studying the impacts of UGA’s Engineering-German Dual Degree Program on students’ cultural sensitivity and global competence. He further worked with Dr. John Morelock to pioneer the use social network analysis as a means of STEM education center evaluation.
