Devanshi Shah, born and raised in Valsad, India, received her Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering in 2016 from India. She graduated with Master Degree also in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology with a specialization in Structures, Solid Mechanics and Materials. Her research background is Engineering Education, with focus on student motivation and performance in senior capstone design course. She is now a PhD student at UGA under the advisement of Dr. Beshoy Morkos. Devanshi is a member of ASEE and ASME. She recently won DEED Student Essay Competition at ASEE 2019. She won CIE Poster Competition at ASME IDETC/CIE Conference 2019. She was also co-author on paper nominated for ASEE DEED Best Paper for 2019.  She aspires to continue working in Engineering Education and give her best in contributing to the society. Apart from engineering she absolutely loves travelling, cooking and cricket.
