Kyle Shanachilubwa

Kyle Shanachilubwa attended Harding University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a minor in math. He also graduated with distinction from the Harding University Honors College, completing his undergraduate thesis on the experiences of Black computer science and engineering students in their interactions with faculty. He was a two-time McNair scholar and a member of the Beyond Professional Identity (BPI) group led by Dr. James Huff.

While still exploring the specifics of his research focus, Kyle has consistently been interested in understanding the experiences of Black engineering students. He is also passionate about advancing diversity in computer science and engineering education.
